RETURNS and EXCHANGES
Being a food product, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind or incorrect ordering. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If the product(s) were delivered in a damaged or not fit for use/spoiled condition, we will either refund the purchase price or replace the product(s), at no additional cost to you.
We must be notified within 30 days of your purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or exchange. Please do not send your purchase back to us without first contacting us.
To return your product, you should mail your product to: 4 Summerhays Street, Terrace End, Palmerston North 4410.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, (less shipping costs and transaction fees) and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven't received a refund yet, double check your bank account, then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

As we are a small business, to keep up with demand we release our batches in launches. We announce launch dates approximately three days before the products restock on our website. Launches can sell out fairly quickly due to limited supply. To make sure you're the first to know about a launch date, sign up for our newsletter. We recommend setting an alarm for when the products are set to restock on our website so you don't forget.

All Secret Sauce Co NZ sauces are gluten free by ingredient! We also have vegan options. Our vegan sauces are free of the 10 common allergens as identified by the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI):

You can slowly warm the sauce to a simmer on your stovetop in a saucepan, stirring frequently. You can serve the sauce many different ways. The traditional way to serve the sauce is with your favourite type of pasta and garlic bread. You can make meatball subs by adding meatballs, sauce, and melted mozzarella cheese to a bread roll. The sauce can also be added to a chicken or eggplant parmesan dish. Really, the sky is the limit! We can't wait to see what you come up with.

We jar our sauces, giving them a stable shelf life for one year. The sauce can be stored in your pantry or cupboard at room temperature away from sunlight. Jars of pasta sauce that have been opened can be stored for 3-5 days in the refrigerator and must be discarded after that timeframe.
